Do you also get irritated by people who stand in the way when you try to get off the train? For this challenge we came up with GETOUTAWAY. A system that helps people get on and off during their train journey. The assignment was to come up with a screenless installation for a self-chosen challenge.

Project beyond consisted of 3 subjects: design research, ubicomp and content delivery.

 

In the design research course, research was done on the problem, the motivation of the travelers, existing solutions and the theories of behavioral scientists. Everything was elaborated in a product biography.

 

The Ubicomp course revolved around creating the prototype. Physical to coding. Here Arduino was used.

 

Content delivery was a small part of this project. At the end we had to create an informative overview of GETOUTAWAY in the form of an app.
